Outdoor Women's Series

Imagine floating a wilderness river in Alaska, with nightly campfires, catching fish, watching for moose, bear, and caribou, eating hearty food, and someone else doing all the work? If you are liking that idea, then this trip is for you. This series is for the "outdoor woman" and for those who always wanted to experience the outdoors and never had a chance.

Activities include: basic rafting, fishing, camping and survival skills, fire building, bear safety, and wildlife viewing. There are no tests on this trip; it's adventurous and the guides do all the work (and cooking).

Customized Adventure Float Trips

Alaska has over 3,000 rivers. Many have never been floated! These river trips bring the ability to explore different areas for wildlife, fishing, and scenery. Panning for gold in river waters that were last panned by gold rush miners. Floating a river whose banks held one of the largest discoveries of dinosaur bones in the US. Watching the migration of 100,000 plus caribou from their summer feeding grounds. These are a few examples of how customizing your trip can offer you the Alaskan experience of a lifetime.

These trips offer several advantages over the lodge or permanent camp settings. First of all, it’s quiet. You might hear the beaver slapping his tail, or float right by a moose or a bear. Second, there is more fishing and exploration time. You can fish until physical constraints come into play or explore until the midnight sun goes down! Last, but not least, we become part of nature itself. Flowing with the speed of the river, we are no longer merely observers, but active participants.
